Plugin Files


Purpose

This plugin allows you to display a list of files like in a file gallery listing. You can also create a link to a slideshow of images in a file gallery.
The files can identified by their:
  • ID
  • gallery
  • category
  • gallery and category

Regarding permissions:
  • The file gallery must be visible by the user in order for the file to be listed or displayed
  • A category with a permission on a file has no effect

Parameters

Required parameters are in bold
Preferences required: feature_file_galleries, wikiplugin_files
Parameters Accepted Values Description Default Since
galleryId To list only files contained in these file galleries
categId To restrict files listed to those belonging to one or more categories. Enter a single category or ID or list of them separated by colon
fileId To list only specified files, enter their file IDs separated by colon
sort Order ascending or descending based on any field in the file gallery table. Default is name_asc name_asc

n		 Show the title of the file gallery (shown by default) y

n		 Show the date each file was created (not shown by default) n

n		 Show the date each file was last modified (shown by default) y

n		 Show the number of hits each file has received (not shown by default) n

n		 For locked files, show the user name of the user who locked it (not shown by default) n
showauthor y
n		 Show the user name of the user who is the author of the file (not shown by default) n
showcreator y
n		 Show the user name of the user who is the creator of the file (not shown by default) n
showgallery y
n		 Show the name of the parent gallery
showfiles y
n		 For galleries included in the list (where the file gallery includes other galleries), show the number of files in each of those galleries (not shown by default) n
slideshow y
n		 Show a link that produces a pop-up slide show when clicked (not set by default) n
showcomment y
n		 Show comments for each file (not shown by default) n
showlasteditor y
n		 Show the user name of the user who last modified the file (shown by default) y
showthumb y
n		 Show Image thumb n
creator Show only files created by this user

n		 Show a simple upload form to the gallery (not shown by default) n

tipAdditional notes

  • If you give only categId, all the files that are in a gallery with this category and all the files of this category (after Tiki version 2) will be returned.
  • If you give only galleryId, all the files of this gallery will be returned
  • If you give galleryId and categId, all the files of the gallery that have this category will be returned
  • The fields that are displayed are those specified in one of the galleries
  • if you specify Title, you will see this text as title instead of the category name or the gallery name as title
