Overview

Use this tab to enable and configure new Tiki features. As the features mature, they will be moved to other tabs on the Features page.

To Access

From the Features page, click the New tab.

Note

These features are either new or undergoing major changes. Be aware that there may be known issues and limitations. Review the Bug List Release Notes for details.

New tab

Setting	Description	Default
Invite users	Allows users to invite friends to register at the site (by sending an email)
Quick Permission Assignment	Define classes of permissions and assign them to objects
WebDAV access to Tiki	Uses WebDAV for the File Gallery. Use tiki-webdav.php as the URI of the WebDAV repository .
Wysiwyg editor	Enables the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, powered by CKEditor
Accounting	Enable the Tiki accounting system.
Zotero Bibliography	Connects Tiki to the Zotero Bibliography system. If enabled, you must supply the following items: Zotero Client Key, Zotero Client Secret, Zotero Group, and Zotero Reference Style.

Setting	Description	Default
BigBlueButton	Enable integration with BigBlueButton for web conferencing and screen sharing. If enabled, you must supply the BBB Server location and Server Salt.
Kaltura	Enable integration with Kaltura for collaborative video editing.
Print Indexed	Enable Print Indexed feature
Search engine friendly url	Tiki will use SEFURL - Search Engine Friendly URLs. This requires the use of the Tiki .htaccess file.
Webmail	Enable the webmail feature
Mindmap	Enable the mindmap feature
Invite Users	Enable the Invite Users feature
Perspectives	Enable the Perspectives feature
Quick Permission Assignment	Enable the Quick Permission Assignment feature
Spreadsheet	Enable the Spreadsheet feature
WebDAV Access to Tiki	Enable the WebDAV Access feature
Web Services	Enable the Web Services feature
Wysiwyg editor	Enable the Wysiwyg editor feature
